In order to expand the model range downwards, Jeep launched the Renegade in spring 2014. The technical and optical basis is the 500X from sister company Fiat. Only the front distinguishes the Jeep from its Italian relatives, body and rear are the same. Since the facelift in 2018, the first three-cylinder Jeep has also been used in the small SUV.
