Extreme, technically complex and exclusively suitable for the racetrack: Behind the somewhat bulky abbreviation FXX K, Ferrari will be offering a hybrid super sports car for selected customers from 2015. The K in the name stands for "Kinetic Energy Recovery System" - a technology known from Formula 1 in which braking energy is converted into electricity.
Next to the gullwing doors, the radical aerodynamics package of the FXX K with its unusual rear wing catches the eye. Propulsion is provided by the 6.3-litre V12 borrowed from the LaFerrari, which has 860 hp thanks to various modifications. In combination with an electric motor with 190 hp, this results in a system output of 1,050 hp and 900 Nm torque.
