An SLK from America? The Chrysler Crossfire was technically based on the Mercedes SLK (R170) built between 1996 and 2004. From 2003 to 2007, Karmann built the German American as a coupe and as a convertible with a fabric roof. Short, crisp and powerful. The basic engine was a 3.2-litre V6 naturally aspirated engine with 218 hp. The top model was the Crossfire SRT6 with 335 hp. Today the SRT6 is above all a collector's item, since it gets by without tuning.
