For many, the Tipo 33 Stradale is the most beautiful Alfa of all time. Quite right! Compared to the Tipo 33 racing car base, the wheelbase has been increased by 10 centimeters to make the cockpit more spacious. The centerpiece was a 2-liter V8 with ultra-short stroke and two overhead camshafts. With 230 hp (instead of 260 hp), a short-tuned six-speed gearbox and a weight of 870 kilograms, impressive performance was possible. The Tipo 33 Stradale sprinted to 60 mph in less than six seconds, with a maximum speed of 156 mph.
