The Gumpert Apollo is a legal street racing car produced in Altenburg by the German automaker, Gumpert. Although this is yet to be tested, when driven sufficiently at high speeds, the Apollo is optimized to drive upside-down in a tunnel.
Similarly, the car uses a 4163cc bi-turbo intercooler version, a light metal crankcase with five valves per cylinder, varioCam Direct, a hydraulic valve clearance and a four head overhead camshafts. Also, it has a catalytic converter and four oxygen sensors which efficiently monitor gas mixtures. Impressively, the car's top speed is 360km/h, and it can quickly accelerate to 100km/h in 3.1seconds and 200km/h in 9.1seconds.
Powered by a V8 twin turbo and coupled with a 100Kw electric motor, the hybrid Apollo can deliver up to 519 PS, and it also has a rechargeable battery under braking.
