Maybach Diecast Models

The illustrious German motoring company Maybach Motorenbau GmbH was founded in 1909 by Wilhelm Maybach. A man with drive, Wilhelm turned into the protege of Gottlieb Daimler (a German automotive inventor and engine professional), with whom he created a friendship and business alliance. The friendship had developed way before the firm was proven.

In 1909, aircraft maker Graf Zeppelin (also referred to as Count Zeppelin) and Maybach founded "Luftfahrzeug Motorenbau GmbH" in Bissingen. The firm was renamed Motorenbau Friedrichshafen.
